Dr. Maria Wright's success as a leading General Dentist began with a dental training from the University of Maryland after earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.

Prior to entering private practice, she served a general practice residency at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she was able to further her studies in dentistry and discover her passion and talent in cosmetic dentistry and educating those who have limited access to oral care.

We offer Smile Design, full mouth reconstruction, TMJ therapy and wellness/ nutrition programs. These programs are designed to help achieve the patients goal of total facial aesthetics and smile design.

Our team of a prosthodontic dental specialist, skin care specialist (Smile Spa at Smile Design Studio) and cosmetic dentists have trained at the University of MD, with members of the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics to treat wrinkles and lines in the lips and face to improve aesthetics, The Aesthetic Institute VA, The Pankey Institute Key Biscayne, FL, and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Studies, to provide excellence in fulfilling your comprehensive needs. We have a combined 30 years of experience and we offer a truly relaxing spa environment and a menu of spa service in a beautiful, luxurious office setting with friendly staff. We also provide general dental and family care.

Dr. Wright completes numerous hours of continuing education yearly to achieve her mission to provide optimal care to her patients, including Invisalign™, laser dentistry, sleep apnea, and she was an attendee of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. She remains active particularly in the local school systems and churches volunteering her time promoting oral health in the community. In addition, she advocates the use of mouthguards to athletes and had the opportunity to accomplish this on the professional level with athletes of the National Basketball Association and the National Football League.

Present affiliations include the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, the premier association for continuing education in dentistry. Outside the professional realm, Dr. Maria Wright loves traveling and golf.
